Synapse Aviation (https://synapseaviation.aero / https://airportbriefing.aero) a leading provider of route, area and airport briefing software, is seeking a talented 3D artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various 3D assets used in our software platform, including 3D terrain, airports, runways, lights systems, flight procedures etc.
• Design and create high-quality 3D models and textures for use in our software platform
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the 3D assets
• Maintain and optimize existing 3D assets to ensure they are up to date and perform well on all platforms
• Develop 3D content using our proprietary software tools
• Continuously research and implement new techniques and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of 3D asset creation and maintenance
• Good knowledge of 3ds Max
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient in English language
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Good experience in 3D modeling
• Experience with texture creation and optimization for real-time rendering
• Love for aviation
